Onthe afternoon of November 11th, the School of Mechanical andAutomotive Engineering (hereinafter referred to as "School ofMechanical and Automotive Engineering") communicated with theSchool of Urban Transportation and Logistics of Shenzhen Universityof Technology in the 8B604 meeting room of the Modern TransportationCenter. Party Secretary Yu Rong, Dean Cui Guohua, Deputy Dean GuoHui, Director of the Relations Office, Dean of the School of UrbanTransportation and Logistics of Shenzhen University of TechnologyFranz Raps, Secretary of the Party Branch, and Deputy Dean(School-Enterprise Cooperation Commissioner) Luo Qin, College ViceDean (Foreign Affairs Commissioner) Yin Xiaohong, and teacherrepresentatives attended the exchange meeting. The exchange meetingwas presided over by Yu Rong, Secretary of the Party Committee of theAcademy of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

Atthe meeting, Dean Cui Guohua introduced the development of thecollege and the discipline of mechanical engineering from the aspectsof the college's development history, discipline construction,scientific research, and talent training. Dean Cui said that theSchool of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering has a complete rangeof majors and outstanding scientific and technological innovationcharacteristics. He hopes that in the future, he can communicate withthe School of Urban Transportation and Logistics of ShenzhenUniversity of Technology, learn and build together, and promote thetransformation and development of the college.



Franz,Dean of the School of Urban Transport and Logistics, expressed hissincere thanks to our hospital for the reception. Dean Franz saidthat the purpose of this visit is to understand the professionalconstruction, discipline development, and talent training of theSchool of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering; to learn theexperience and practices of the School of Mechanical and AutomotiveEngineering in school-enterprise cooperation, laboratoryconstruction, and teacher introduction. Luo Qin, secretary of theParty branch and deputy dean (school-enterprise cooperationcommissioner) of the School of Urban Transport and Logistics,introduced the basic situation of the college from the aspects ofschool purpose, faculty, international cooperation, and professionalsettings.


Atthe exchange meeting, participants actively conducted in-depthexchanges and discussions on how to better introduce talents,continue to promote undergraduate teaching construction, engineeringprofessional certification, and high-quality employment for students.

Beforethe meeting, the School of Urban Transport and Logistics of ShenzhenUniversity of Technology, accompanied by Deputy Dean Guo Hui, visitedthe Mechanical Science and Technology Innovation Laboratory inBuilding 1, Vehicle NVH Laboratory in Building 5, Automobile Scienceand Innovation Laboratory in Building 8, and Automobile TeachingExperiments Science and technology innovation bases such aslaboratories.

Itis reported that the School of Urban Transportation and Logistics ofShenzhen University of Technology was established in 2018. Itcurrently offers four undergraduate majors in transportation,logistics management, automobile service engineering, and vehicleengineering. There are three master's programs enrolling students inengineering and mechanical engineering.
